MR GLADSTONE AND IRELAND
London, October 30 ! Sir H. Holland addressed a meeting! at Harapstead yesterday. Referring to Mr Gladstone's utterances on the Irish question, he said he was practically preaching the rebellion ot the Irish people. The effect of the speeches was most dangerous, because a larger sense was attributed to the meaning than the actual words warranted. Notwithstanding Mr Gladstone's agitation the Government have determined to act firmly m their dealings with Ireland.
