The Bank of New Zealand shares are quoted at The "Daily News" thinks there is no cause for alarm at the non- declaration of a dividend by the Bank. The "Standard" says it is evident the colony is going from bad to worse. Colonial stocks are slightly weaker.

Tne non-payment of a dividend by the Band of New Zealand caused a sensation among English shareholders. The shares fell "£2, and New Zealand stocks also suffered.
