Hobart, CVober 29.
The sanitary authorities at Launceston announce that no fresh cases of smallpox have been reported to them. The patients m the hospital are progressing favorably.
(Reoelved October 31, 1.46 p«m.) BORDER DISPUTE. Mblboubnb, Oofcobar 31 . The Governments of Victoria and South Australia have agreed, subject to the approval of their respective Parliaments, to refer the case of the border dispute to the Privy Counoil with a riew to an early decision being arrived at.
