caslon and worked by Messrs Mason j ' Struthers and Co. of Christchurch. lb* eompetitioo was by points, ono point being given for every" ten days since calving, one point for eveiy pound • of milk and two points for every ounce of separated cream. The competition was won by a cow the property ef Mr Randell, Mr Tasker's exhibit gaining second prfze, and Mr Ward's third.
