m, Dunbdik, October 27 • It a Conference to-d»y between Committees of the Anglican and Preßby.eriin Synods it was resolved to expresß aatisfaotloa at the report received by oablo of the agreement made between the British and French Governments as to the early withdrawal of the French from tha New Hebrides, and a hope that full provision bod been made for the protection of the mission and of the natives from the inroads of reoidivistes from Frenoh penal settlements. It was also agreed to lay a copy of the resolution before the respective Synods for adoption, with a recommendation that it be transmitted to tbe Premier, with a view of being sent to the Home Government.
