WOOL SALES.

Melbovbnk, October 26. Messrs Goldsbrough and Company Limited, held their usual weekly sale of wool to-day. The attendance was large, and competition good, especially for light wools of good quality, greasy, bulky pieces, and good lambs. There was a good demand for heavy wools, but earthy wools were difficult to dispose of. The catalogue comprised 5000 bales, of which 1600 bales found purchasers. Greasy wool brought iod per lb, lambs wool is y 2 d, and scoured wool is zd.
