A ; torchlight procession was to proceed to the meeting summoned at Rotherhithe for Monday, but Sir Charles Warren, the Commissioner of the Metropolitan police, issued an order prohibiting the procession. A protest has been made by the leaders of the unemployed against the proclamation of Sir Charles Warren on ths ground that it infringes the right of free speech.
