The north-west gale of the last two da; s was one of the most violeot for many years, both m the harbor and on the other side of the ranges m Wairarapa. Scarcely any damage is reported m town, but the train was stuck up approaching the incline by the fury of wind, and had to bo divided and taken on m sections.
