MELBOURNE MARKETS.
Melbourne, October 19. Messrs Goldsbrough Limited held their usual weekly sale of wool to-day. 6000 bales were catalogued, and there was a large attendance, including several English and foreign buyers. The various lots offered elicited excellent competition, especially m the case of good combing and superior larabswool, m all 4500 bales finding purchasers. The prices realised were generally good. Greasy wool brought as much as ajsd per Ib, pieces 7j_d, and larabswool 1 id.
