Mr T. Bullock ropotta for the week ending Saturday, Oct. 16th, •> follows :— Soventeen horses were entered for the days sale. There was a fairly good attendance of farmers and other conntry settlers, bat biddings were slow, neverthe* leas a large proportion of the entry wai sold at Blightly reduced prices as given below. I offered on account of Mr Sibbald hfs draught entire " Yoong Castler»%gh," six years old ; also the thoroughbred entlra 11 Athlete." But biddings not reaohing owners' limits, they were boih passed m; Sipoe the sale I have sold "Athlete" privately at owner's reserve ; and there are offers made for " Young Oastlereagh," which I have no doubt will lead to'a salt*. Out of the ordinary entries eleven were Bold as follows : — Medium draughts, of five and six years old, of a fairly good stamp, £22, £23; ditto, of ratheff • lighter desoription, £15, £17 10s ; thiee-year-old, rather light, £16 ; light harneil horses, £6 15j to £8 ; hacks, £3 15i to* ££ ; scrubbers at low rates. The privileges of the Agricultural and Pastoral Show realised as follows;— Publican's Bjoth, No 1, £13 lQs, Mr* Butler ; Publioac's Booth, No. 2, £14, J.
