EVERY MAN CAN BE HIS OWN HOR'E DOCTOR, By using SLESINGER'S PREPARATIONS, As detailed below. FOR HORSES: fpHE Colic or Gripe Drink. —Horses are A very liable to Colic or Gripe, and, if ' eglected, this complaint may m a few hours erminate m inflammation, strangulation, - tympanitis, and death. This Colic Draught will- give relief m less than two hours, and often within ten minutes. The Embrocation. — For the treatment of , Cuts, Wounds, Bruises from f addle, Girths, or Harness, Sore Shoulders, Strains, Spr?ins, Rheumatism, Windfalls, Swellings, etc If either of these injuries or complaints be neglected for a few hours, they may take weeks to cure The Condition Powders. — For restoring and keeping the Horse m good health, relieving Hide-bound, Smfeit, Mange, Grease, and Skin Eruptions, correcting a diseased state of the Stomach, Bowels, Kidneys, Bladder, Liver, e'c. The Worm Powders. — The Horse is very subject to Worms, frequently unsuspected by the owner. Thousands of Horses die for the want of these Powders, and the owner is none the wiser for it ; and, unless a post niorteui I examination is mr'e, does not know that his Horse suffered from these reptiles. On all occasions, wheu the animal is poor, m low condition, hide-bound, or occasionally passing a worm, give one of tnese Powders night and morning, as directed on each tin. The Blister Ointment is superior to any other. After using it, he hair returns to its natural color, and, unlike any other, no blemish is left. The Hoof Oils.— The chief cause of Lameness m Horses is some injuty or defect m the Foot, which may cause irfiammation of the Foot, and bring on other diseases, such as rnflammation of the Bowels, Kidneys, Lungs, These Oils, if used m time, will pi event or cure brittle Hoofs, Sandcracks, Contraction, Quittor, Canker, Corns, Thrush cr Frush, Narrow Heels, Hoof-bound, Navicular Joint Disease, etc., all of which the lioneis subject to, and is liable to fall and endanger the life of his rider. This may be avoided by using this Oil daily, or two or three times a week. Ihe Grease Ointment. — For the cure of Grease, Crown Scabs, Rat-tail, Mallenders and Sallenders, or any Skin Eruption. DOG MEDICINES : The Distemper Powders are a Perfect Cure, and may al?o be given m other ailments. The Mange Ointments — May be used for the Mange or any other Inflammatory Diseases of the Skin m the Horse or Dog. It may be mixed with four times its quantity of Neatsfoo Oil, being easer of application. By keeping a supply on hand, which costs but very *^c, you can cure your Horses yourself w .inout the aid of a Veterinary Surgeon.
