ELECTRICITY.

London, October 12. The Agents-General for the various colonies visited the Albert Dock to-day for the purpose of inspecting the working of the electric tram car and electric launch. The party were afterwards entertained at luncheon. Mr Adye Douglas, Agent-General for Tasmania, made a speech, m the course of which he said that electiicity had a great future before it m the Colonies, and he hoped its application would aid m binding them close to the Mother Country.
