Mr Peter Williams (for Fried Under Bros ) reports for the week ending Tuesday, 4th October, 1887 :— On Saturday, Ist October, we held oar weekly sale of horses at oar East Street Horee Bazaar. We have to report having sold privately, on account of JohnQrigg, Esq., of Longbeaoh, the 3ye»r-old< olydeadalo entire " Dlplomaoy," to MeDennis McKendry, Cairnbrae, for 160^ guineas. •• Diplomacy " is a dark bay/ colt, with black points, rising 3 yean oWI Btands 16| hands high, with very fin* quality, bone and hair. He takes very mnoh after hie father, Lord Beaoonafield. He is well topped, and has a grand sat of legs under him ; m fact, he will take some rubbing out In the show ring. Mr MoKendry is to be congratulated upoa having obtained such a promising sir* Piaa.— Porkers, 12a to 14*; tow with 7 yoang ones, 26s 6d. i Poultrt. -Fowls, Is 6d, U 114 to 3a per pair.
