SUDDEN DEATH
Mr W. Elartnell, of Lavington, near 1 South Rakala, died suddenly on Tuesday morning. He had been unwell for some time, but not to an extent that created apprehension. On Monday night he retired to bed m much the same state of health as usual, but about 4 a.m. he was found dead. Mr Hartnell was well-known and reepected m this district, and his untimely end will be sincerely deplored by a wido circle of trlends (Fbom our Correspondent ,) Fakaia, September 28. The inquest on Mr Walter Hartnett^ of Lavington, was held to-day before Mr Whltefooid, Coroner, and a jary of bJx, of whom Mr V. A. Pyko was chosen foreman. A post mortem had been made by Dr. Tweed, of Aahbarton. Aitor the evidence of the doctor and the nurse had beon taken, a verdiot of '•Death from natural causes" was returned. The immediate cause wm cardiac syncope. Both lunge were much diseased, as was also tbe heart. Every thing possible had been done for him. Mr Hartnell was only 38 He will be muoh missad m the district and there Is much sympathy with the family. The funeral will take place at eleven on Thursday.
