» Mr Alfred Harrison reports for the week as follows, Saturday, 24th Sept. : — CatxL£. — There was a large entry In cows buc sales were dull. Springers £4 to £5, storeß 30a to 60s. Pigs. — The weather being very bad but [few were yarded, prices unchanged. Poultry. —Fowls, Is 9d to 2s 43; ducks, 3a to 3j 9J ; geese, 4a to 75.. Produce. — Derwents, 20a to 35 ; seed, H per lb ; oats, 1b 6 i to la 9d ; chicken wheat, Is 6d to 2* 6J ; sharps, ja ; bran, 4s 3i ; tea, Us ; mutton, 2d ; carcass pork, 2£d per lb ; baoon and hams, 4d. Byegrass Seed h very dull Jof Bale small lota sell at Is to 2s bushel. Implements.— Dray, £10; spring cart, £12 Harness at market rates. A large quantity of builders tools material, furniture and effects etc. Bold at fairly good prices.
