CANADIAN PACIFIC RAILWAY.

London, September 24. Mr Stevenson A. Blackwood, Secretary to the General Post Office, has returned to Montreal after completing a tour of the Canadian Pacific Railway. He expresses the belief that there would be no saving of time if that route was adopted as an alternative to the Suez Canal for the conveyance of mails to China and Australia, but is of opinion that it would be invaluable m the event of European complications or the closing of the canal.
