SUNDAY FISHING.

TO THBEDITOB.

Sir,—" Englishman " says in his letter that •' Angler " is a blatant Idiot, because, forsooth, he has an opinion how Sunday should bo spent. I should advise "Englishman" when he next intends writing to the papers to shew the production to his mama, as it is very evident he has not yet let off the feeding bottle, otherwise he would not contradict his own statements — " Englishman " wishes to uphold the principles of liberty of action and thought, and because ono happens to differ with him he can only reply by abuse -—well, you can hirdly expeot anything else (torn parsons who hold the views he does, viz, no respect for religion, or persons who desire to soa Sunday a day of peace and rost. Sir, I strongly objeot to •'Englishman" using the nom deplume he does, it is evidently misplaced. But pro* bably lam wrong. It is so easy now for one to got patara'ised. I have yet to learn that any of the anglers in Aehbarton are precluded from following their sport in Iho week day. Goodoeßs knows, most of us find the time hang rather heavy, and I think those that have been and are still desirous of abusing the seventh day, reilly have more time at their disposal during tho other six days than most of the community. Cannot they deny them* solves a little, and thus refrain from Bhooklng the feelings of others. I may say that I am an angler and also a

Freethinker.
