Nominations for Waimea-Pioton — E. H. Mills, A. P. Seymour, and J. G. Harkoeeß. The show of hands was m favor of Mills. Gkeymouth, September 19. Mr Reeves being the only candidate nominated for laangahua was deolared duly elected. The announcement was received with tumultous cheers. Mr Seddon received a vote of thanks and confidence at Dangaville on Friday evening. He spoke strongly la favor of the Government. Chbistohuboh, September 19. Sydenham. — The show of hanas was : — Orewes, 87 ; Taylor, 83. St. Albana— Garrick, 120 ; Reeves 30. Ling wood — Loughrey, 109 ; Flesher, 106 ; Reese, 30 ; Partridge, 8. Lyttelton— Joyce, 37 ; Allwrlght, 28 ; Heathoote — The show of hands gave Jones a large majority over Hopkins. There was a good deal of uproar at the Sydenham and Linwood nominations, but the others were orderly. Oamartt, September ID.
