EVERY MAN CAN BE HIS OWN HORSE DOCTOR, By using SLESINGER'S PREPARATIONS, As detailed below. FOR HORSES: THE Colic or Gripe Drink.— Horses are very liable to Colic or Gripe, and, if egleeted, this complaint may m"a few hours erminate m inflammation, strangulation, tympanitis, and death. Thra Colic Draught will give relief m less than two hours, and often within ten minutes. The Embrocation.— For the treatment of j Cuts, Wounds, Bruises from Saddle, Girths, or Harness, Sore Shoulders, Strains, Sprrins, ! Rheumatism, Winigalls, Swellings, etc. If 1 either of these injuries or complaints bo ne« glected for a few hours, they may take weeks to cure. The Condition Powders. — For restoring and keeping the Horse m good health, relieving Hide-bound, Surfeit, Mange, Grease, and Skin Eruptions, correcting a diseased state of the Stomach, Bowels, Kidney*, Bladder, Liver, etc The Worm Powders.— The Horse is very subject to Worms, frequently unsuspected by the owner. Thousands of Horses die for the want of these Powders, and tbe owner is none the wiser for it ; and, unless a post mortem examination is mafe, does not know that his Horse suffered from these reptiles. On all occasions, wheu the animal is poor, m low condition, hide-bound, or occasionally passing a worm, give one of tnesc Powders night and morning, as directed on each tin. The Hoof Oi'.s.— The chief cause of Lameness m Horses is some injury or defect m the Foot, which may cause inflammation of the Foot, and bring on other diseases, such as inflammation oi the Bowels, Kidneys, Lungs, ; .; These Oils, if used m time, will pievent j or cure brittle Hoofs, Sandcracks, Contraction, Quittor, Canker, Corns, Thrush or Frush, Narrow Heels, Hoof-bound, Navicular Joint Disease, etc., all of which the hone is subject to, and is liable to fall and endanger the life of his rider. 1 his may be avoided by using this Oil daily, or two or three times a week. The Grease Ointment. — For the cure of Grease, Crown Scabs, Rat-tail, Mallenders and Sallenderg, or any Skin Eruption. DOG MKDICINES : The Distemper Powders are a Perfect Cure, and may also be given m other ailments. The Mange Ointments.— May be used for the Mange or any other Inflammatory Diseases of the Skin m the Horse or Dog, It may be mixed with four times its quantity of Neatsfoot Oil, being eas'er of application.
