POSTAL CONFERENCE. London, September J3. The Agents-General for New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia, accompanied by the Postmaster-Gene-ral, had a Conference to-day with the Chancellor of the Exchequer on the sub ject of the Australian postal matters, when the proposal that England and the Colonies should share the tofal receipts was discussed. The Postmaster-General however, favored each country retaining its own postage. The Conference terminated without any decision being arrived at.
