"Sydney, September 4. The Revs Geo. Brown and Fletcher, the remaining delegates of the Wesleyan Commission to Tonga, have returned here by the s.s. Lubeck. They report all was quiet at Tonga, and express a hope that some means will be devised by which the two churches there will be united. They refuse to divulge the doings of the Commission, as their report will be laid before the Wesleyan : Conference on Wednesday next.
