THE SUGAR BOUNTIES.
The delegates of allied industries, with Messrs Bruce and Ronald, acting on behalf of Australia, are arranging an anti-bounty gathering for October 3rd. It is stated that 290,000 workmen are affected by the bounties. The Magdeburg Sugar Syndicate forced the price to 19s, but it has since receded to 13s.
