We KiT— Pearl and Tuscan it dull at 33 7d, and Hunter's bss little enquiry at 3s 6d, but chickwheat has a fair demand at 3s Id to 3s 2i whole, and 2* 9i to 2* lid for broken, Oats— A better tone has been noticeable during the past few days, and Is lOd haa been given for heavy short feed for shipment, and loc.»l buyers are also pur* chasing m small lots ; plenty, however, are cff ring at above ratea Sparrowbilla ace not bo saleable at Is 9 1, while Danish and Tatars are dull at Is 7d. Bailey — There is no prime malting m the market, and second qaa'ifcy has good enquiry at 3s 3d to 3a 61, while feed lines are qnlet at 2s 3d to 2a 4d. Beai>s are worth 3a Id to 3a 3d. Praslan Blues, 3* 31 fcr prime Hues ; feed sorts are worth from 2j 9d to 2i 10 J. Grass Seed — There is plenty cf rye grass ottering at 3j 3d to 3s 6d, machine dressed, but little sale, and there is no enquiry for farmers' lines, which are very unsaleable at It 91 to 2s 9J. Cocksfoot has not quite bj ttrong a demand at 4£l to 4^. Potatoes have no Bale at 15a at country stations. Dairy Produce— Prime new made butter h?s a good enquiry at 8d ; other lilies have no demand, Cheese is very dull at 31 to 3H- i Prices abova quoted paid to farmers and I delivered, f.0. b., Lyttleton, sacks extra.
