TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — la yonr report of Mr Buxton'g speech you omitted to mention his reply to a question whioh 1 pat to him. I think you will agree that It is of oonuiierablo importance, and I hope yon will be kind enough to publish it. My question wad to the following effect:— "Mr B ax ton says he has every confidence m Sir Robert Stout and Mr Ballanoa. What dues he think of Sir J ullui Yogel V The reply was;— "I think he ia a very olever gontletuaa. One of the o'evere&t gentlemen In New Zealand. I think he Is too olever for n«."
