VICTORIAN TARIFF.
In the Legislative Assembly to night, the tariff proposals of the Government were amended, on the motion of the Treasurer. The duties on sugar and produce of the cane were reduced from 3S 6d to 3s per cwt., and on sugar (refined m Victoria) from 2S 6d to 2s. A Bill embodying the changes was introduced m the House, nnd assented to.
