TO THE EDITOB. Sir,— l see by to-day's "Times" and " Press" that it is stated that Mr Box on has rosig' ed m favor ot Mr W. S Maslia as a sandidate for the Rangitata seat. Will you kindly contradict this statement, as it. is the other way about. Mr Buxton 'is not the man after once having made up . bis mind to back out.
