Paris, Aogasfc 9 The official journal to-day announces that Mr Egerton, Secretary of the British Legation, had an interview yesterday with M . Flourens, Minister of Foreign Affairs, m which he asked that a date should be nam?d within which the French forces would evacuate the New Hebrides. M. Flourens stated he was unable to reply precisely so long as the intentions of England with regard to Egypt and the proposed neutralisation of the Sues Canal remained undisclosed.
