CORONERS AND THE PRESS.
Auckland, Angnet 10. At tbe itqaest on the body of the girl Olara Windsor, who died suddenly At Hamilton, Mr Searanoke, the Oorcner, refused admiealoa to the Press. He gave as bis reason that it was not the custom m his district to allow reporters to.be present. The jary declined to proceed with the inqa.Bt unless reporters were admitted. The Press were then permitted to remain. A. verdict from " Death from apoplexy due to natural causes" was eventually returned.
