SHOCKING IMMORALITY. : ; . Wkllikotok, August 6. j Sovtt ihooking revelations were made at the R.M. Court this morning when a family of three generations was charged with various offences of either poonpying Inrotbeli or leading ft life of vagancy. It appeared that the grandfather, an old man of 79, owned a collection of wretched huts near Qhniaee itreet, known as the Rabbit Warren, and hit son with four children,, two of whom were described as amongst fh« lowest prostitutes m the town, lived In tham. The huts were built of old kerosene tins, picking oases, eta., and were abont four feet m height and six fett iqaare, not large enough for a man to stand np In. The father, who was once fteapeetable, wai proved to have brought men to the pltoe, and the Beach said it wai terrible to find a man so degraded ai to life on the prostitution of his children. Imprisonment for terms of two and three months was inflicted la the oase of Astall, hii daughters, and two ether women. The grandfather was not , dealt with as he was sefzad with a fit, and the two younger ohlldren were remanded.
