On Friday, 29th July, jfel held out fortnightly sale of ekins at our East etre«t Horse Bazaar. About 200 skins were brought forward, and- the following prices were obtained :— Good croasbreds,- Sa 6d to 4a 2d ; medium, from 2s to 3s 3d.s peltg, Is ; good merino, 3s 2d to 3s 6d ; medium, 2a 4d to 3s; hides, 3dto3M; tallow, l£d; loose fat, l£d; On Saturday, 30th July, we held our weekly sale of horses. Tho entry Wai very small. . draughts, £10 to £18 Good horses are still m •doarand. but few are coming forward. Cattle —Oowa m fall profit, £4. Poultry —Turkeys, 8s to 15s per pair ; ducks, 4s per pair ; roosters," 4s to 4s 8d • hens, 2s 6d to 2b lOd peripair ;J pigeon i, Is 6d per pair. Produce — Potatoesj 2a 6d to 3» 6d per bag ; carrots, 25s per ton I fowls* -whea^ 9s -per Jbaft ; mutton, Id to 2d ; caroMft pork, 2^d to 3d per lb ; cheese, 3d, Fornitdhb.— Home hair snite, £12; chest drawers, £1 7s 6d to 30s. Other furniture and sundries at current rates. At Tinwald yardß on Tuesday, 2nd inst. the entry consisted of 2818 sheep, 50 bead of cattle, and 13 pigs. Owing to the very heavy rain the night before the number of stock was not so large as usual. Then were also very few buyers, several of the lineß being turned out unsold. The following are the prices obtained : Fat crossbred ewes, 10s to 10s 3d ; mixed crossbreds, 7« to 7s 9d ; do. wethers, 8s 6d ; crossbred lambs, 6s 6d, 6s 10J, 7i 10dto,9s 6d; aged crossbred ewes, ia lambs, 6s to 7s 6d j f aiheifew, £4 I7i 6d to £5 lOa. ;
