NAVAL EVOLUTIONS.

Naval evolutions on an extensive scale are now proceeding off the English coast and the chief parts of several squadrons, having been formed for the purpose. One commanded by Rear Admiral Freemantle. attacked and captured Falmoutb, and sailed m the direction of Dover, which was defended by * squadron under Vice-Admiral Sir W. Hewitt. Another squadron proceeded to the Mersey for the purpose of attacking Liverpool.
