A TATTOOED LADY JMR THE JUBILEE

Mr William Holland, the aotlvo and enterprising manager of the Albert palaoe, called upon us and desorlped tbe dot a'traotion he is going to Introduce to the publlo for Whitsuntide, Tattooed men are plentiful enough, but a tatooed lady is a novelty, more especially when the operation has been performed so artistically as m tho case of Mrs Emma De Bur^h. A drawing of tbe Lord's supper forms the chief ornament over Mrs De Burgh's ample bock, whilst her legs are respectively adorned with the armorial bearings of Great Britain and the United States. Tho lady's right arm Is coveed with angels, and on tho elbow is an eye which positively winks when the arm Is moved. Mottoes of various kinds, such as " Love and truth should prevail," and " Do unto others as they should do unto you" fill up vaoant spaces about Mrs De Burgh's bust, and the oalvei of her legs are dotted with "Erin go bragh," and similar expressions. Judging from the minute photographic reproduction, Mr Holland has secured a living, moving work of art that should draw crowds of curious. spectators to Battersea during the ensuing holiday season. The strangest part of the bminoM Is that the lady states her chief reason for submitting to the painful operation of the tattooing needle was to come to England and take part la the Jubilee. — English paper. :

"Bough oh Itch."— " Rough on Itoh" cures skin humors, eruptions, ring worm, tetter, salt rheum, frosted feet, ohilblains, itch, ivy poison barber's itoh. 3 !
