Government has officially intimated to the Porte that, failing an early decision from Turkey m the matter of the election of Prince Ferdinand to the Bulgarian throne, they will consider the Porte's ailence to bear the usual interpietation, and Bulgaria will proceed to to settle matters herself. : Cokstakhwoplb, July 31 In connection with the election of a Prince for Bulgaria, it is reported that the Porte has proposed a Conference of the great Powers on that question, but it is further stated that the Sultan has undertaken to induce the people of Bulgaria to accept a Russian candidate.
