Miss Mar pry made a dart for tho till and abstracted theroftom a five-pound vote and some silver, She was duly paoked off ln the train, and shortly after wards the money was missed, A telegram wassent, and the girl was examined at Edsndale, but stoutly denied everything. When the train arrived at Inveroargill, Marjory was taken to the general mamge.'- fffije until the polico were commnnicaled with. Pn'-Merjory is slippery, and managed to get on the Bluff train, whloh wa. well _n Its way before she was recaptured. She was again brought back, and this time a professional searcher waa employed, with the result that the mleslng money was found concealed m her. armpit.
