LORD SALISBURY ON FREETRADE.
London, Jnly 28. Speaking at Norwich, Lord Salisbury said freetrade was condemned bjr every one but ourselves. He did not admit freetrade wrong, but the British system was full of anomalies which required to be dealt with. The fanners were asking that duties be charged on imported produce. He believed it was necessary for tne country to retrace its steps and make fiscal alterations for the benefit of tbe growers.
