The following is the Corn Exchange report for the week ending Friday, tho 29 b July .*— Bat little change Ijbs taken plaoe In values of grain and produce during the pact waek. Shipments have been light, and local requirements are of the most reitrioted character. Seed Tußcan and barley hM an occasional enpulry. Freights to London are reasonable, but advices are unfavorable to Homeshlpers. Wheat.— Limited sales have taken place at 3s 7d for Tuecan and Pearl, and 3i 6d to 3s 7d for Hnntem ; second quality Is rather dull at 3s 4d to 3b 51 ; chicken - wheat Ii m better supply but dealers are nil and not t/>xoious to increase stock. Oats are offering plentifully, and prloca hsve slightly receded . Prime milling can be purchased at la Id to Is lid, and short feed are dull at Is 9d to Is lOd ; long descriptions are valued at Is 6d to Is Bd. Baeibi.— Prime malting samples are not m stock, and maltsters are buying •eeond quality at 3s 6d to 3a 9d ; feed IfBM are dull at 2* to 2a 3d. Bsans are m good demind at' 3s 2d to Bi9d. Pbas are quiet. Prussian Blues are moving oft slowly at 3s to 3s 2d, and feed lines are worth 2s 9d to 2< 103. Gbass BXSD —But few sales have yet taken place, machine dressed being quoted at 3s 53, and farmers' parcels are with little demand at 2s to 3s ; Cocksfoot Is firm at 4d to 4£ for prims heavy seed second quality is selling at 3£d to 3|d. Potatoes are still unsaleable, the Sydney market being still glutted and the interprovinclal orders are very email. Kidneys are m good demand for orders from the North Island. Daisy produce. — Business is almost at ft standstill. The quantities offering Is far In excess of requirements. Prime tub nutter has a limited enquiry at 6d to 8d ; second qeality without demand, Cbeeiie Is dull at 3d to 4d. Tbe above prices are those paid to farmers and for delivered f.o.b. Lyttelton, saoki extra.
