THE IRISH QUESTION.
London, July 26. The Government are taking steps to maintain order m Ireland. It is thought that the operation of the 6th section of the Crimes Act is intended to entirely suppress the National League, but it is feared that the section will prove inoperative m any way against the League, owing to their having resolved to alter its name and constitution, and bring it under the piotection of the trades' Unions and Benefit Societies' Act.
