♦ , Auckland, July 25. A fatal gun accident is reported from fielsnsTllle. Bloholaa Hope, a gam digger, and a lad named Thos. Mack, aged 16, were oat shooting at Bataura, two miles from Helensville, when the boy's gtm acoldbntly went off, and the charge entered Hope's head behind the ear, blowing bis brains out. The attention of the Supreme Court was taken up during the whole of last week with the case of Arkill v tbe Cily Council of Auckland.
