SENSATIONAL SCENE AT A BULL FIGHT.
The Pot it Maraeiilais gives the following account of a very exciting sceae which occurred at a bull fight outside Saragoaas the other day:— '"After two bulls had been despatched without any special incident, the third, an animal n<>raed Salcdo, jump©! over the barriers into the amphitheatre, crushing an old man and o lad of eighteen. It would be difficult to give an adequa'o description of the panic and to mult which ensued. The whole of the spectatore jumped to their feet. L. the twinkling of an eye the space around the bull was vacated, and the crowd rushed into a corner, try Use to protec itself by meanß of planks and b ticks fro to his expected charge. The bull made a desperate rush for a young girl, who with a shriek fell to the ground, but one of the torreadora, with great presence o 1 mind, trailed a red cloth m the path an J thuß diverted his attention from the girl, who was dragged unconscious to a place of safety. The bull next trampled under foot an unfortunate vendor of drinking water, and forced his way into that part of the ring known bb 'Tertulia.' A young man m one of the boxes tried to shoot him, but the three bullets from his revolver whioh he managed to lodge, m him only served to increase bis fury. One of the men then tried to run him' through, bat he missed hla aim, and the bull charged him furiously. The man stepped aside, and the bull's horns went so deep inte the wouden paling that before .he could withdraw them two men plunged their Bworda into him. Even this did not kill him outright, the enraged animal staggering same thirty yardß and breaking down a number of benches before the breath was out of hie body."
