Miller Bayr. a horse Had up about 10 o'clock at night, but did not reoogniae it. There waa aloo a horse m the same place: the, morning after, but he could not swear that it was the same."- Barnabas Blackburn, te« membered peeing, about May 17th, a horse tied up about eight o'clock m the morning, and had notice i a horse aomethlng Bimilar the evening before.— The oonetable*exp!alned that the information h»d bsen laid through Information received from the last two witnesses — Mr Osborne stated that on the day m qaeatlon.he had to go to town and had turned his'-hone loose to go home. He had not had time to look after it but asked a roan m the towDshlp to do so. The latter, J.. Irvln, could not understand what Mr Osborna said as that gentleman was on board the train, which was travelling at some ■pead, —A fine of 20a and oo«ts waslnflloted. SITPPLYINa A " PROHIBIT." John Bird was charged with having supplied drink to W. Street, against whom a prohibition order was In force.—Defendant pleaded guilty, and m defence stated that Street craved for a drink and on the impulse of the -moment he procured it for him,— Flued 20s or 48 houri,— The Berioh remarked that under the <)Iroum* stances the man Street who hai hicl the drink and had. on a previous oocaildn got a person m trouble for the iiaiaV offenoe shoaldat least pay the fine.
