The following is the Corn Exchange re« port for the week ending Friday, the 15th July : —

A fair amount of business has been transacted during the past week, and last week's values have been well maintained. We note from our Sydney adrices that the import duty m that market on hops and malt has been abolished, and that thoße on honey and oatmeal are to be removed from the lat October. Tuscan and Pearl may bo quoted at 3s 7d to 3a 7£d ; and Hunter's at 3s 6d to 3s 7d ; second quality finds the best enquiry as fowl feed, at 3s 3d to 3s 4d ; broken wheat is selling at 2s lOd to 3s, according to quality. Oats. — An average trade is beintj done, tbe local buyers being still m the market for limited quantities. Milling are scarce at Is lid to 2s ; short heavy feed are at Is lOd ; and sparrow bills and inferior short Canadians at Is 8d to 1b 9d ; long and inferior are selling m small lines at Is 6d to Is 7d.

Potatoes are still without enquiry. Small lines are moving off at 25s at country stations. Kidneys are m gtrone demand. a

I>AiaY Produce.— Butter has a fair enquiry at 7d to 7£d for prime, but newly, made cheese ia dull, and has very little enquiry at 3£d to sd. The above prices are those paid to far* mers and delivered f.o.b, Lyttelton, sacka extra.
