THE NEW HEBRIDES.
Sir James Fergusson, replying to Mr Bryce's question m the House of Commons, states that the parleying with France hitherto was without result. Negotiations were contiuing, but nothing definite had been arrived at. He was, however, hopeful that the Fiench would withdraw from the New Hebrides shortly. The Imperial Government were not to be blamed for the great delay which had occurred.
