Messrs H. Hatson and Co. report upon the live stock market for the week ending June 28th, as follows : — On Tuesday we held our usual weekly Bale of Bheep, cattle, and pigs. The weather was the worst we have had. this season, snow bein^ thick on tbe ground, thereby preventing a large entry of any description of stock. Sheep that did come forward; however, met with a ready market _at fully equal to late rates, and we .have'still good enquiry for young crossbreHs a*nd lambs fit for turnips. Pigs were rather dull cf sale, and the Bame may be., said of cattle, nobody caring io drive stock m the state the roads were m. Fat sheep realized 7s 6d to 7b lOd ; .medium quality, Btore crossbred 2-tooth, 6s lOd to 7e 4d ; aged crossbred ewes m lamb, 4s 5d ; bacon pigfl, 27s ; fat cattle, £f 10s to; £5 12s. 6d.
