THE EGYPTIAN CONVENTION.
In the House of Commons last night Sir J am es Fergusson, Under-: Secretary for State for Foreign Affairs, -announced, m reply to a question, that the Porte had strongly desired that the ratification of the Egyptain Convention should be postponed until Monday next and that the Imperial Government had assented to the postponement.
