BRITISH AND FOREIGN BIBLE SOCIETY.
Since the public meeting held on the occasion of the Rev Mr Kobjohn's visit, the local Committee of the Bible Society have held several meetings. The result of their labours co far has been that a depot m connection with the local branch has been formed m a favorable position, at the shop of Mr Flower, confectioner. Mr Flower has taken oentral premises at the Town Hall buildings, and has at present a Bnpply of the Bible Society's bibles and testaments. Mr Williamson, grocer, oontinues as before to maintain his connection with the Christchuroh auxiliary. Bibles m other languages, as German or Gaelic, can be had if required.
