Sydney, Jane 21. A serious. rail way accident occurred to an excursion train at Peat's Ferry, near Sydney this afternoon, by which Thos. Wilson, the driver, and three others were killed and thirty persons - injured. Three more persons have since died of the injuries received, and it is feared three other cases will end fatally. All the wounded were brought. into the city this evening. A most distressing scene occurred at the station on the arrival of the train. It is believed the accident was caused by the brake not acting properly.
