Wellington, June 15. At the Magistrate's Court to-dajr Richard Gobs, Joseph Benson, Riohard Burns, John Barrs, William D. Marriott, Vincent Dentios, and Peter Harvey were charged with having on the 6th inst. unlawfully oonspfrad to molest, m j are, and obstruct Charles Edwards, an improver In the employment of Mr J. E. Potter, boot manufacturer, and with having followed him about m a disorderly manner and used violence towards htm with a view to coerce him into quitting his employment. The evidenoe showed that prosecutor when leaving hin wprk was set on by a orowd of about f jrty or fifty, who, after knooklng him down twice or three times, osriieo hfm to the water's edge, and threats wera made to throw him m, but a gentleman interfered. The whole of the defendants, with the exoeption o£ Dentfoa, were oom* mltted for trial bail being allowed.
