SHEARERS' UNION.
Oahvru, June 14. A meeting of the New Zealand branch of the Aubtralaslan Shearers' Union was held hero this evening. Eulea were drawn tip for the guichnoe of members' and a Committee of five was appointed to conduct the affairs of the Association. Mr Slattecy was elected Secretary, and [Oamaru wes fixed upon as the head* quarters of the Association for the colony. The charge for shearing wrs fixed a*. £1 per ICD for the North Island and 26i 8i for the South Island. It wm stated that the New Zjaland members of the Association now numbered 9300;
