(Reoeived Jane 15, 1.40 p.m.) Syi>nby, Jane 15 Great precautionary preparations have been made to prevent disorder at to-night's Jubilee meeting at'lbe Exhibition Buildings, but as Lady Carrington's Queen's fund proposal will be taken at the same time, it is thought that the meeting will not be disturbed.
New Plymouth, Jane 15. A meeting wan held hat night to conolder what steps should be taken to oele< brate the Jubilee, when it was deoided that beyond the holiday nothing oho aid be done. Veiy few were present at the meeting and groat apathy was shown over the affair. Lady J6rvois' oiroular not being well received here the matter fs not likely to be actively taken np. That portion respecting soliciting money from the children at the Eohooh wan et:ongly condemned.
