Calcutta, Jnne 12. { Later advices from Afghanistan re-! port that the statement that the Ameer has left Cabul to assume command of the troops operating against the rebels is untrue; Calcutta, June 13. Latest news from Afghanistan states that the Ameer suspecting the loyalty of the garrison of Herat is sending other troops to replace them. Two regiments at Herat have already deserted and joined the rebels. The Ameer has left Cabul to assume the command of the troops operating against the rebels. (Received June 14, 1.25 p m.)
